PBA 109A ELECTIONS ARE RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER AND THE ADMINISTRATION IS LINING UP THEIR CHOICES TO RUN THE SOA - SO MUCH FOR MERIT

I RECENTLY RECEIVED THE LINE UP FOR CANDIDATES AND ITS NOT LOOKING GOOD FOR THE SOA

First and Foremost Conrad appears to be more interested in filling his pockets and Castillos with overtime money then running his Union. Several Members have been suspended, fired, harassed and all he cares about is himself.

Needless to say, he caught the eye of someone in Administration, the word on the street is Conrad is allegedly being sent for Administrative Training, instead of the 2 Lieutenants who finished higher on the Captains List. John Geoghegan, finished number 1 in the State.

Deputy Director Nalls-Castillo must think pretty highly of Lt. Conrad, because she ignores his obvious faults and allows him to use his position to protect his favored few.  She has allowed Officer Christina Burt to be suspended for a discharging error, with a Policy that didn't exist, but his running mate who was complicit got a warning and his special friend made a discharging error in October which was ignored.  I wonder if that is because Mr. Castillo received the overtime to pick up the inmate.

And yes, if you are one of Conrad's chosen, you also get keys to his office. (Even when you have just over a year on). Yes the Office he keeps personal files of the Officers in his Unit and Yes that includes medical paperwork, personal issues, disciplinary files and numerous other things that they should NOT have access to but hey they are his special friends... or maybe they just need a special place to  relax and unwind.

Lt. Conrad is running with VP Hopeful James Nieves, they were both granted Vacation time to work overtime on the Television Production.  Lt. Conrad's leadership skills were on full display that morning as he was approached by an Officer (Coleman) and a Sergeant (Lopez) who had a disagreement.  Lt. Conrad instead of doing his Job, Told Officer Coleman "I am not working in my capacity of Unit Manager today so take your nonsense to someone else".

Conrad was also complicit with Deputy Director Nalls-Castillo when Officer Coleman won $150,000 because of their incompetence when she was pregnant.

The real question is why would Conrad be getting groomed to move up the ladder and continue to run for President of the Union? Or is the better Question who would be dumb enough to put both him and Nieves in those positions when they are both notorious for trampling the overtime list??

I even was told that Officer Colleymore, one of the Original Officers who approached and recruited EDPDLaw to help get rid of racism at the Hudson County Jail spends a lot of meal breaks in Unit 2. Maybe he heard the rumor a couple 109's Executive Board members are looking to make a move to Unit 2 as well.

I wonder if Conrad is going to take action for the civilian and the inmate swapping shoes during a visit, or is his special friend going to walk through that too???? I believe 2 Officer's took big hits for an inmate swapping with another inmate. What's the penalty for a civilian to inmate swap?

What exactly is the criteria to become Lt. Conrad's Special Friend?
